Synopsis:
Villon is a drunkard, a pickpocket and a braggart, but also a poet. The King of France, hearing Villon boasting, makes him King for a Day with this proviso: If Villon can win the hand of Lady Katherine during that 24 hours, then he may live. If not, he will hang.
