Synopsis:
Fra Diavolo, chief of a band of robbers, woos Zerlina to learn where a treasure has been secreted. Zerlina’s sweetheart Lorenzo learns of this, and despite Fra Diavolo’s efforts, the brigand is caught in his own trap. Lorenzo and his carabineers surround the castle and win the day.
