Synopsis:
In 19th Century Vienna, composer Franz Schubert fights to regain the love of Mitzi, who has fallen for another man, Schubert’s best friend. The friend (who has used Schubert’s own music to win Mitzi’s heart) triumphs, and Schubert, broken-hearted, dedicates himself to his first mistress – music.
